Loghean and Huntley both grew up in Lake Forest, only a few streets apart. The neighborhood had a huge friend group that hung out often and this is how the Strause and Ward families first met.

Fast forward to 2021, Loghean graduated college and Huntley worked for PrivateFlite. PrivateFlite was taking a "work" trip to Vegas and Loghean got the last-minute invite to go out with them. By night 2, Loghean and Huntley found themselves staying out at the blackjack tables until 3am together. Huntley had no idea how to play blackjack and was losing most hands but continued to play so he could stay in the seat next to Loghean.

Shortly after the trip, Loghean started working at PrivateFlite and Huntley became her manager. They spent a long month going on secret morning coffee dates and to random restaurants in Indiana to make sure no one caught them... especially Loghean's dad. After a month, they finally decided to come clean

The months to follow, Loghean and Huntley took many trips to Chicago, where Loghean had an apartment at the time. This is where some of their favorite memories have taken place which is why Chicago is such a special place to them. On June 8th, 2024, Huntley asked Loghean to marry him in their special place. It was a great night celebrating with family and on August 1st, 2025, we cannot wait to celebrate with all additional family and friends.
